Admissions Process
Step 1. Make an Enquiry
Please contact us via our Enquire now. Our Admissions department will reach out to schedule an appointment to discuss what Wellington College Independent School Jakarta can offer your child. You can also use this channel to inquire about available spaces and express future interests.
Step 2. Book a Visit
Secure a school tour to experience the welcoming atmosphere, exceptional facilities, and vibrant learning environment firsthand.
Step 3. Apply
After visiting Wellington College Independent School Jakarta and meeting our friendly team, you'll likely want to proceed with the application process. You can apply online or request a hardcopy application form from our Admissions team. Along with the application, please submit the necessary supporting documents and a non-refundable application fee.
Once all the required documents and receipt of your payment has been received, our Admissions team will reach out to guide you through the next steps and arrange for an assessment.
Step 4. Assessment
At Wellington College Independent School Jakarta, we believe passionately in all-round education and therefore our assessment for entry considers the character, interests, talents, and personality of every individual child.
Upon receipt of your child's application form along with the application fee, we will proceed to arrange an assessment. To assist you in determining the appropriate entry age group for your child, we recommend consulting our guide to year group placement.
YEAR GROUP PLACEMENT: Children are placed according to their date of birth, relative to the academic year.

Step 5. Review
The Admissions and Academic Teams will review your application, the availability of a place in the appropriate class and year group, the results of the assessment and, if relevant, academic records from your child’s previous schools.
It is important that any special educational needs are disclosed at this stage and related documentation such as educational psychologist reports or Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are shared so that we can determine if Wellington College Independent School Jakarta is able to provide appropriate additional support.
The decision on whether Wellington College Independent School Jakarta is able to offer a place is communicated by email within ten working days of assessment.
Step 6: Letter of Offer
Once application is successful, you will receive a Letter of Offer via email. This letter will outline the confirmed year group of entry, the enrolment year and term, as well as any specific terms associated with the offer.
Upon receipt of the letter, you will be required to accept the offer by signing an Acceptance of a Place Form and agreeing to the Terms and Conditions for Student Enrolment within 10 days.
Step 7: Welcome
Upon acceptance of the place, payment for the tuition fee is required in advance. Once these fees are received, the Admissions team will send a Welcome Package via email. This package will include orientation materials and documentation that must be completed prior to enrolment, such as Medical Information, Uniform, Wellington Extra, Security Badge, and Car Sticker forms.
New parents are cordially invited to attend a Welcome Coffee Morning prior to the start of the term of entry. This event offers an excellent opportunity for you to meet other new parents, our Master, Head of School, and Admissions team. They will be delighted to assist you with any inquiries or concerns you may have from a parent's perspective.
Step 8: Enrolment
Our dedicated Admissions Team will accompany you through each stage of the admissions and enrolment process until your child's first day of school. We strive to ensure that you feel well-informed, welcomed, and enthusiastic about joining the Wellington College Independent School Jakarta family.
