Welcoming Mr. Paul Vanni to the Board of Governors

Wellington College Independent School Jakarta is delighted to welcome Mr. Paul Vanni, International Director of Wellington College International, to the Board of Governors of the Wellington College Education Singapore Group (WCESG) and Wellington College Independent School Jakarta (WCIJ).

As International Director, Mr. Vanni plays a pivotal role in supporting and strengthening the Wellington family of schools around the world. His appointment to the Board of Governors further reinforces the close partnership between Wellington College International and the schools within the Group, including Wellington College Independent School Jakarta.

Mr. Vanni brings more than 25 years of experience in education and school leadership. His distinguished career includes senior leadership roles at both St Paul's School and St Paul's Girls' School in London, where he served as Director of School (Senior Deputy) for seven years. In 2018, he became the Founding Head of Kensington Park School, leading the establishment and development of a successful co-educational day and boarding school.

Alongside his leadership experience, Mr. Vanni has contributed extensively to educational quality and standards through his work as an Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) Inspector and a Principal Examiner for Cambridge International Examinations. He has also supported international education initiatives across Asia, helping to develop high-quality educational provision in diverse settings.

Mr. Vanni holds a First-Class degree in Modern European Studies from University College London, a Master's degree in French Literature and a PGCE from the University of Cambridge.

His appointment to the WCESG and WCIJ Board of Governors brings valuable international expertise, strategic insight and a deep understanding of the Wellington ethos. We look forward to the contribution he will make in supporting the continued growth and success of Wellington College Independent School Jakarta and the wider Wellington College Education Singapore Group.
